Full Time Teller responsibility is to accept and process consumer and commercial transactions.
These transactions include, but not limited to checking, savings, loan or mortgage payments, cash checks and cash advances.
This position assists with night depository and vault duties.
Teller is to promote business for the bank by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate area for all services.
Essential Job Functions:
Process customer transactions:
deposits, cash checks, process loan payments Teller may redeem Savings Bonds, process Cash Advances, issue cashier checks and money orders Provide balance and/or copy of transaction history to customers Teller is responsible for balancing the teller drawer assigned daily Required to follow regulations, policies and procedures pertaining to Teller responsibilities Accepting In-Charge role when assigned, which may include decision making for transactions, required to verify and/or sign off on outages by other employees Knowledgeable of Banking regulations i.

Reg CC; BSA/AML; GLBA, etc.

High School diploma or General Education Degree.
Education can be obtained through in-house training.
Good social skills/customer service skills Basic knowledge of office skills, math skills, basic computer knowledge Good organizational and time management skills Ability to deal with routine problems Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense, carry out instruction, interpret documents or instruments, detailed work, problem solving, customer contact, reasoning, math, language, verbal and written communications, stress, multiple concurrent tasks and constant interruptions This position is responsible for the supervision of employee(s ) when assigned Environment and Physical Activity:
This position spends time keying, speaking, visual (i.
e.
close, color and peripheral vision), sitting, walking, standing, and reaching.
Lifting as much as 5 - 15 pounds This position may operate any or all of the following:
telephone, copy and fax machines, calculators, computers, and related printers.
