Ranch was established 100 years ago as a cattle ranch and has now transitioned to light cattle operations & family recreation.
Overall duties will include grooming, feeding and saddling horses as well as maintaining and cleaning stables, and additional property maintenance.
This is a full-time position, with fluctuating hours depending on owner needs.
Responsibilities:
Ranch cleaning and maintenance, including mowing around stables, cleaning stalls, paddocks, tack room and storage areas, and equipment.
Assist with the cleaning, grooming, brushing, and additional special care for the horses.
Check on horses for any injuries or illness and follow care instructions from owners and vets.
Prepare and saddle horses for riding.
Exercising horses daily by riding, walking and leading Requirements:
Caring and compassionate towards animals, with a passion for horses Experience with Western or English riding and stable work 5
years working in a farm environment and around horses.
Excellent communication.
Physically fit to perform job duties, to include lift/carry, use of ladders and tools, etc.
Valid and clean driver license.
Ability to work agreed upon hours, with flexibility towards onsite visits Job Type:
