Responsibilities Design and create methods of manufacturing for fixtures, manufacturing aids, and shop improvements.
Creating 3D models and detailed manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks software Using multiple software tools to create programs, manufacturing files, and proof design for manufacturing (DFM) changes.
Updating the ERP method of manufacturing (Routing, BOM).
Reviewing fixture performance with the production team and making adjustments as needed
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or any other related field 3 years of experience of manufacturing draft designs Has previously worked within a metals fabrication environment Strong communication, organization, leadership and problem-solving skills Has worked with sheet/tube laser, CNC machines and assembly Hands-on experience working manufacturing and fabrication functions that will include raw material processing, forming, machining, and welding processes Proficient in SolidWorks and ERP Systems (Epicor)
